PEP BACK OP?

Started by: GOLDEN BEAR (6556)

I found out today that PEP is to undergo a small op on his back ,and it just drives home to the difference between them & us! He complains and is immediately whisked into a Hospital to have the procedure done ,whilst i being selfish I thinks about ME ! I have been waiting now for some 3 and half to 4 years to have a similar back op , It just makes one wonder the huge gulf between the have's and have not's !!!!G.B.

I sympathise with your plight GB but Pep has gone to Barcelona to have his surgery so he isn't jumping the queue in front of you.

Also, no doubt he is paying for the treatment himself. Some people in this world have more money than the rest of us, that's just the way it is.

He should not be envied or despised for doing well for himself in life, good on him or anyone else who has done OK, I say.

Having said that, we all pay into the NHS and we should expect just as good service from it, but that's another debate.

And so what? Every United injury is treated on the NHS? I hope none go private or you will stop going to Old Trafford. Ooops I forgot. You haven’t been there for 20+ years.

DONGB /
Yes you are correct i do not blame him or accuse him of queue jumping for i know he went to barcelona , and financed it himself . I was just making a general point because no matter even if it had been Fergie or anyone else of that ilk ,,it just rubs salt into an already bad wound so to speak . G.B.

GB we dont always get on but can i give a genuine friendly bit of advice? GB never get bitter about what other people get or have as it does not change anything about your life GB sadly we have to play the hand we are dealt in life i only know too well that is not always fair but thats the way it is.
GB i would like to tell you a story i f may? my daughters best friend had a child about 15 moths ago 8 weeks premature the little mite had a very enlarged heart that was putting pressure on his other vital organs, and he has been in alder hay hospital since he was born waiting for a new heart! his mother who has other children never left his side all this time any way the other week whilst she was chatting with my daughter on the phone they told her to get her baby ready right away as a helicopter was en route to rush him to great ormand street in london they had finally got a heart! yes on one hand a family was ecstatic but on the other one poor family was destroyed! what im trying to say GB is theres always somebody worse so just play the hand in life you were dealt! the operation was a success by the way.
